I’m a member of technical staff at Odyssey, an AI lab building superimagination, empowering everyone to tell never-before-told stories. I’m building out our ML infrastructure and doing my best to make our GPUs overheat. I’m fortunate to be part of an amazing team that moves fast! And we’re hiring! Check out odyssey.world for more information.
Before that I was a software engineer for almost 4 years at Waymo. I was on the machine learning runtime team building inference infrastructure and optimizing inference for our vehicles. I was constantly learning thanks to great teammates and mentors! During my time at Waymo, we expanded our service from Metro Phoenix to fully driverless service in both San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Prior to Waymo, I did a 5-year BS/MS program at Carnegie Mellon University in Electrical and Computer Engineering, initially focusing on systems software, then on machine learning. I was on the varsity soccer team, playing in all but one game over my four years on the team. I also did rewarding summer internships at Apple and Ford.
I am particularly interested in artificial intelligence, space, planes, and sports. In my free time you’ll find me playing soccer at Stanford, skiing in powder (picture above is from Granite Chief), watching a Liverpool game, or reading about something new in the world.
